A Woman’s Place, a nonprofit organization, advocates for a society where all individuals are safe in their relationships. A community-based social change organization committed to the empowerment of women and to ending intimate and domestic violence for all, A Woman’s Place focuses on the values of courage, creativity, equality, integrity, respect, and social justice.
The different types of domestic abuse, the long term affects domestic abuse leaves on individuals, and sources available for victims are discussed.
