GmercyU’s Integrated Studies Program Transforms College Experiences

Student-centered post-secondary program for individuals with intellectual disabilities

Rooted in a rich heritage of core values, GmercyU’s Integrated Studies program emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and an exploration of knowledge.

This student-centered post-secondary program for individuals with intellectual disabilities guides students to earn a certificate of integrated studies highlighting their completed courses, internships, and a portfolio displaying their work. The inclusive academic setting provides opportunities for education, social participation, and career development that aims to develop well-rounded, adaptive individuals with self-determination, a commitment to service, and lifelong learning.

Hear insights from the Interim Director Zack Hulings, Assistant Dean of Education Debra Schadler, and peer mentor Emma Larsson as they dive into this innovative program.
