On Thursday night November 6, 2025 at 6 PM, the Gwynedd Mercy University gym was buzzing with energy as students gathered for the Morgan’s Message volleyball game, an event dedicated to raising mental health awareness on campus. I had the chance to speak with some of the students leading the charge. Natalie Gablein, a senior and vice president of Morgan’s Message, shared her perspective as both an athlete and a student advocate. Later, I spoke with Natalie Morris, the president, who works with different sports teams to plan events that connect students and highlight the importance of mental health.
The night also featured the voices of students in the crowd. Casey Thomas, Ryan Horner, and Courtney Bowles shared why they came out to support their peers and how events like this help foster a sense of community. From the court to the stands, it was clear that Morgan’s Message is inspiring conversations and connection across campus.
