Transfer student Adam Leal continues to play soccer and excel academically at GMercyU. Athletes are often impacted emotionally and academically when they must decide whether to quit their sport or transfer to a new school, join a new athletic program, and essentially starting fresh. For some, that opportunity may sound appealing, but it also comes with many challenges. For Adam, the adjustment is going well.
